The first cooperative union in the history of Kenya to export coffee to South Korea was Kipkelion union, which started in the year 1908 due to dream to put together efforts in realizing the cooperative dreams. Kericho County “101 Ushirika Day” consolidated different cooperatives and Sacco’s which all showcased a vibrant synergy with their representation during the celebrations at Kericho Primary & Junior Secondary School. Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) CEO Josiah Araabu urge youths to implore the Fund loans products in their quest to alleviate poverty.

Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) a government organization, today undertook a tree planting exercise at Siwot Secondary School in Chilchilla Ward inline to the National Government initiative dubbed “ JazaMiti ” that was launched by President William Ruto in December 2022. The Fund conducted sensitization on its products, entrepreneurship training and how to navigate group dynamics in Chilchilla Ward, Kericho County. And also they gave a dummy cheque worth Kshs.500, 000 to Chilchilla Ward funded groups. PS Water, Sanitation & Irrigation (Dr.Paul Rono), reaffirmed that government of Kenya are underway in plans to overhaul dams and non-dams projects in Kericho County.

Moses Rotich have extensively conducted a 4 day cross examinations in their fact finding mission on the Londiani accident fundraiser which was conducted on 4 th July in Londiani and presided over by the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.
